I'm an artist and feminist. I focus on life as a traveling BLACK African woman living in the West. I use rich, vibrant colours, motifs and patterns of my cultural heritage to produce works that reflect my beliefs, experiences and memories as an African woman of colour. I merge these with other world cultures to reflect the effects of globalisation on indigenous cultures. Basically, I try to draw attention to life as a black African woman in a Western hegemony.
